Blueprint to Implementation: A BIS-Inspired Unified Ledger for Canada
This paper develops a possible Canadian implementation path for the unified ledger model proposed by the Bank for International Settlements. It considers which assets and institutions should participate, where programmability should reside, and how deployment can proceed without introducing unnecessary risk.
